This was an action in assumpsit on a written contract, composed of certain letters between the parties. Plaintiff had been in the employ of defendant as a salesman and supervisor in the Philadelphia office for over nine years. Early in 1922 there was a change of management in said office and the new manager in charge of the district requested plaintiff’s resignation and told him to look around for other work.
