1. Correction of Court records : jurisdiction. 'Attached to defendant’s motion for a new trial is an affidavit showing beyond all.question that the verdict in this .case was a quotient one. Appellee says, however, that after the case was tried the judge who heard it, while holding court, in another county, upon a motion to correct the record, of which defendants had due notice, struck out his affidavit and made an order declaring that it was not attached to the motion when that pleading was presented to and ruled upon by him.
