OPINION

NEWMAN, Justice.

Rasheed Simpson (Appellant) has filed this direct appeal1 from the judgment of sentence of the Court of Common Pleas *260of Philadelphia County (trial court) imposing a sentence of death following his conviction for first-degree murder.2 After a thorough review of the record in light of the claims raised by Appellant, we affirm.

I. FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY
