The plaintiff in an action for divorce appeals from an order of the superior court modifying the portion of the decree relating to the custody of the minor child of the parties.

In the interlocutory decree of divorce which was entered March 9, 1939, provision was made in accordance with the written agreement of the parties that each should have joint custody, control and care of the minor child, hut that the mother should have physical custody with the right of the father to visit with and keep the child for fixed periods.
