On May 30, 1975, the plaintiff-appellee, hereinafter referred to as the appellee, filed a statement of filfllm in the Small Claims Division of the Lakewood Municipal Court, Lakewood, Ohio, against the defendant-appellant, The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, nereinafter referred to as the appellant. The appellee’s claim alleges that on May 21, 1975, a utility pole transformer in front of appellee’s home exploded throwing parts of the device upon his nearby automobile which was damaged to the extent of $126.72.
