MURPHY, Circuit Judge.

Lyle Ridout, a rendering superintendent at a pork processing plant owned by JBS USA, LLC, was discharged after an incident arising from an equipment failure and later replaced by two employees substantially younger than he.- Ridout brought this action against JBS under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), 29 U.S.C. § 623, and the Iowa Civil Rights Act (ICRA), Iowa Code § 216.6, alleging that age was the real reason for his discharge.
