In this petition for a writ of habeas corpus, filed on June 13,1990, petitioner Sheila Ryan DeLuca (“DeLuca”) asserts that she was (1) denied effective assistance of counsel and (2) deprived of her Sixth and Fourteenth Amendment rights to present a defense by the trial court’s exclusion of expert testimony.
