I. Introduction

Plaintiff Angela LaVigna commenced this action against defendant State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, alleging that it violated New York State Human Rights Law (NYSHRL) 1 and the Employment Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) 2 when it terminated her employment.
