WOLLMAN, Circuit Judge.
We address on interlocutory appeal whether the district court erred when it denied Menard, Inc.’s (Menards) motion to compel arbitration. We reverse and remand with directions to compel arbitration.

Faber was hired by Menards in 1981 and was promoted to manager of a store in Iowa in 1996. During the 2000 annual review of his employment contract with Menards, Faber protested some provisions in his 2000 contract that were altered from the 1999 contract, but Menards refused to adjust them.
