Defendant Joseph Mattingly has appealed his 1976 conviction for second-degree murder for which he was sentenced to fifteen years’ imprisonment.

Defendant contends on appeal the trial court erred in admitting a photograph of the victim because it failed to shed any light on a material issue in the case and was so prejudicial as to outweigh its probative value.
