This action was one to recover the balance of an attorney fee of $500 on which $125 had been paid.

The main defense and the sole ground upon which the appeal de*104pends, is the three-year statute of limitations. On the trial, where there were other issues involved than that of the statute of limitations, the jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff for $375, and judgment was rendered for the plaintiff and against the defendant for $375 and costs.
