I would grant the motions for rule on the clerk and allow these appeals from the denial of claims for unemployment compensation to be filed and a determination to be made on the merits of the claims. To accomplish this, all that is necessary is for the statute that fixes the period for filing the appeal to be considered in connection with Rule 6(d) of the Arkansas Rules of Civil Procedure. Rule 6(d) provides as follows:
