Petitioners seek review of an order of the Lane County Local Government Boundary Commission (commission). The order approved an annexation request by the City of Florence (city) under the commission’s authority to make “minor boundary changes.” An annexation minor boundary change can be initiated by a resolution of the commission, by a city resolution, or by petitions of property owners or resident electors.
