OPINION

J. DOUGLAS WILLIAMS, II, Bankruptcy Judge.

Debtor’s counsel, Brian R. Shute and Frances J. Nosek, (“claimants”) successfully defended an Alaska Superior Court action brought against the debtor, obtaining a judgment awarding attorney’s fees. The judgment was entered on August 18, 1979, and was appealed to the Alaska Supreme Court which dismissed the appeal on the motion of the appellant on June 2, 1982. The debtor filed a Chapter 11 petition under the Code on February 20, 1980, which was converted to a Chapter 7 proceeding on October 1, 1981. 1 Subsequent to the conversion to Chapter 7,…
