Defendants were tried together with separate juries. Both defendants were found guilty of second-degree murder, MCL 750.317; MSA 28.549, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, MCL 750.227b; MSA 28.424(2). Each defendant was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder conviction and to a mandatory two-year consecutive term for the felony-firearm conviction. Defendants appeal as of right, raising several issues. We reverse in part, vacate in part, and remand for new and separate trials.
