William Henry Stanfield, the employer in this case, appeals to this court from the trial court’s decision to set aside a consent settlement in a workmen’s compensation case.

Bobby Gene Smith was employed by Stanfield as a pulpwoodsman in January 1986, when Smith’s left leg was broken at work because a tree “kicked back” and hit his leg. Stanfield’s workmen’s compensation insurance paid Smith’s medical expenses and paid temporary total disability benefits to him.
