Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of St. Lawrence County (Richards, J.), rendered June 14, 2006, upon a *815verdict convicting defendant of the crime of promoting prison contraband in the first degree.
Defendant appeals a jury verdict convicting him of promoting prison contraband in the first degree based upon his possession of a sharpened metal rod.
