HUDSON, Judge.
On 28 September 1998, defendant Ricky Nelson Bailey was indicted on two counts of violating N.C.G.S. § 14-27.7A (1999) (“Statutory rape or sexual offense of person who is 13, 14, or 15 years old.”) for allegedly sexually abusing his minor daughter. The two indictments were designated as 98 CRS 9156 and 98 CRS 9157.1 On 20 November 1998, attorney Neville S. Fuleihan filed a “Notice of Representation” stating that he would represent defendant in 98 CRS 9156.
