REYNOLDS, Chief Justice.
Upon his plea of nolo contendere before a jury to the offense of involuntary manslaughter, appellant William Clell Bishop, Jr., was found guilty, and the jury assessed his punishment at confinement for five years and a fine of $5,000. Appellant contends that he was entitled to, and the trial court erred in not granting him, a new trial because (1) juror Marilyn L. Dyer, who became foreman of the jury, withheld information on voir dire examination which subjected her to challenge, and (2) the jury, during its deliberations, received other evidence from foreman Dyer…
