The plaintiff, Professional Economics, Inc. (PEI), brought an action in the Superior Court seeking to enjoin permanently Professional Economic Services, Inc. (PES), from using the words “professional economics” and the name “Professional Economic Services, Inc.” in connection with its business operations in Massachusetts.
