Defendant appeals from a judgment against it, and from the order denying its motion for a new trial.
The action was one for personal injuries received by the plaintiff when she was struck by one of the defendant's electric cars on Sunset Boulevard in the city of Los Angeles. The accident occurred near the place where Elysian Park Avenue runs into Sunset Boulevard. The said boulevard extends east and west and the avenue connects with it from the north.
