This appeal concerns a jurisdictional dispute under the Railway Labor Act1 between the appellee Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen (Brotherhood), and the Switchmen’s Union of North America (Switchmen’s Union), appellants. The right to represent the 6,087 yardmen2 em*787ployed in the several yards of the New York Central Railroad Company is the subject of controversy.
