A jury found appellant Christopher Fiegehen guilty of murder with the use of a deadly weapon, attempted murder with the use of a deadly weapon, burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon, and invasion of the home while in possession of a deadly weapon.2 *295The jury was not instructed that, under NRS 200.030(3), if it found Fiegehen guilty of murder, it was required to designate whether the murder was of the first or second degree.
