Darlene James appeals the district court’s grant of summary judgment on her claim that she was. denied promotion to Cook County Sheriff’s police officer on the basis of her sex and age, in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, 29 U.S.C. § 621 et seq., respectively.
