Case Summary and Issues
Marianne Jackson appeals the trial court’s grant of summary judgment to Thomas Trancik, M.D., in Dr. Trancik’s lawsuit to collect on a medical bill. On appeal, Jackson raises six issues, which we consolidate and restate as two: whether the trial court abused its discretion when it granted Dr. Trancik’s motion to strike an expert witness affidavit designated by Jackson; and whether an issue of material fact remains as to the amount Jackson owes Dr. Trancik.
