The plaintiff husband instituted an action to dissolve his marriage to the defendant wife on October 5, 1977, and judgment of dissolution was rendered by the court, Wall, J., on February 10, 1978. The judgment expressly provided, inter alia, that the plaintiff was to pay to the defendant one-half of the net equity of the jointly owned family residence within seven years from the date of the judgment or the sale of the property.
