Respondent Spokane & Inland Empire Railroad Company is a domestic corporation organized for the purpose of building and maintaining an electric interurban railway system and for other purposes in the states of Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. It took over the properties of several existing companies and organized with $10,000,000 capital stock, all of which had been subscribed to the limit of its capitalization.
