OPINION OF THE COURT

ECKER, Judge:

In accordance with his pleas, appellant was convicted by a military judge sitting as a general court-martial of one charge and four specifications involving possession of drugs with the intent to distribute (Specifications 1 and 2) and distribution of drugs (Specifications 3 and 4), in violation of Article 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 912a (1988)[hereinafter UCMJ].
