Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Beldock, J.), rendered April 25, 1988, convicting him of attempted robbery in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant’s motion to dismiss the indictment on speedy trial grounds was properly denied without a hearing, since it was clear from the court file and the parties’ papers that a significant portion of the nearly two-year delay between the filing of the felony complaint and the commencement of the trial was excludable, and the defendant…
