From the findings of fact it appears that on the night of March 28, 1934, defendant’s manager, in the ordinary course of his duties, spread a substance consisting of a floor-cleaning compound, which had been dipped in a liquid, upon the floor of its store; that the floor-cleaning compound was swept up the morning of March 29th.
