MEMORANDUM OF DECISION

JAMES A. GOODMAN, Bankruptcy Judge.

Dennis F. Breau filed his petition in bankruptcy on September 18, 1981. The debtor claimed as exempt property, pursuant to Me.Rev.Stat.Ann. tit. 14, § 4422(5) (Supp. 1981-82), three guitars and an ac-coustic amplifier, with a value not in excess of $2,700. The trustee has stipulated that these items are used professionally by the debtor, and that the debtor’s income derives solely from his work as a professional musician.
