This was a suit brought in his own name by the plaintiff as indorsee against the defendant, an indorser before delivery of a three year promissory note for twenty-nine hundred dollars ($2,900.00) (on which there was due twenty-five hundred dollars [$2,500.00] at time of suit), given by Jennie Weinstein, September 16, 1925, to Joseph Brenner and secured by a mortgage of real estate duly recorded.
