Appellee recovered judgment in the circuit court of Cook county, against appellant, for $1558, and that judgment was affirmed, on appeal, in the Appellate Court of the First District. It seems to be conceded a case like this has never before arisen. It may be well, therefore, to briefly state some of the principles which govern the relations of a pledgor and pledgee of personal property.
