The bill of complaint alleges joint infringement by the defendants of patent No. 961,897 for a mail box, granted June 21, 1910, to the defendants Rosenberg and Clark, as inventors, and their assignors, the complainant. On September 4, 1909, the inventors admittedly divested themselves by assignment to the complainant corporation of their entire interest in the invention and in the patent which was subsequently granted.
