The plaintiffs 1 seek the recovery from the defendant, a professional corporation engaged in the business of land surveying and civil engineering, of damages for the alleged negligent preparation of a boundary survey of the plaintiffs’ land. The plaintiffs allege that errors in a site plan, which delineated the boundaries, courses and dimensions of their land and which had been prepared by the defendant for submission to the town of West Hartford in connection with an application for a zone change, resulted in economic loss to them.
