PREGERSON, Circuit Judge:
This is an action for breach of fiduciary duty under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001-1381 (1982) (ERISA). Plaintiffs contend that the district court erred in ruling that ERISA provides no remedy for breach of the fiduciary duty of loyalty after ERISA plan participants and benefi*1408ciaries have received their actuarially vested plan benefits.
