This is a suit by an insurer as subrogee of its insured, to whom settlement of claim had been paid, in which it seeks to recover the amount paid from defendants as joint tort feasors.

The facts established show that at or about 7:00 A.M. on the 6th day of March, 1942, a 1938 one and a half ton Ford converted truck owned by the defendant, Forest Couvillion, and driven by his employee, Jules Bernard, was proceeding from Marksville toward Alexandria on the concrete highway.
