Appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court *863(Eidens, J.), entered January 3, 2005 in Schenectady County, inter alia, granting plaintiff a divorce and ordering equitable distribution of the parties’ marital property, upon a decision of the court.

The parties were married in China in February 1987 and have no children. After 16 years of tumultuous marriage, plaintiff commenced this action for a divorce in 2003.
