The petition in this matter was filed on January 2, 1992. *928Respondent appeared, was assigned counsel and was arraigned on the charges. On February 26 and March 9, 1992, the court conducted a hearing pursuant to section 332.1 (7) of the Family Court Act and determined that a statement made by the respondent would not be suppressed pursuant to People v Huntley (15 NY2d 72 [1965]).
