HASTINGS, Senior Circuit Judge.
Plaintiffs Paulette Grantham, Fred Grantham and Charles R. Grantham brought this action charging defendant Challenge-Cook Bros., Inc., with infringement of United States Patents Nos. 2,604,313 and 2,643,463 to which plaintiffs hold legal title. Plaintiffs’ former licensee Essick Investment Co. and present licensee “Automatic” Sprinkler Corporation of America were al-ligned as involuntary defendants after they refused to join as parties plaintiff.
