It is claimed by counsel for S. Jennie Sorg, Paul A. Sorg and Ada G. Sorg that no lien attached to the interest of Paul J. Sorg, the owner of the fee, because the claims for liens filed with the circuit clerk did not mention him as owning any interest in the premises. Section 4 of the act of 1874, as amended in 1887, (Laws of 1887, p. 219,) which governs the rights of the parties in this case, provides that “every creditor or contractor who wishes to avail himself of the provisions of this act shall file with the clerk of the circuit court of the county in which the building,…
