This is a writ of error to the Supreme Court of Illinois.
The suit was brought by Charles Frohman, Charles Haddon Chambers, and Stephano Gatti (defendants in error), to restrain the production of what was alleged to be a piratical copy of a play known as “The Fatal Card.” Its authors were Charles Haddon Chambers and B. C. Stephenson, British subjects resident in London, who com posed it there in 1894. The firm of A. & S.
