EVANS, District Judge.

The Evening Post Company, a corporation, was organized under the provisions of chapter 56 of the General Statutes of Kentucky on the 1st day of May, 1878. By its articles of incorporation it was to continue in existence for a period of 25 years, namely, until May 1, 1903. The complainant, a citizen of Missouri, holding the past-due notes of the company for $6,000, brought a suit at law against it in this court for the recovery of a judgment thereon.
