FRIEDMAN, Judge.

Julie Lyons appeals from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County granting summary judgment in favor of the City of Philadelphia (City) and dismissing Lyon’s complaint against the City.

In January 1988, Lyons filed a complaint against the City alleging that on October 14, 1985, while alighting from a bus onto the sidewalk abutting Bustleton Avenue, she sustained injuries when she tripped and fell due to a large hole at the location’s designated bus stop.
