New Prague Lumber & Readi-Mix Company commenced this action to foreclose a mechanics lien, naming as defendants Benjamin Bastyr, Hope Bastyr, and First National Bank of New Prague. A lien statement for $1,529.19 had been filed on December 15, 1959, based upon a claim that plaintiff had furnished labor and material used in repairing and renovating a building in Scott County. Defendants Benjamin Bastyr and his wife, Hope, the owners of the building, are in default.
