Ludwig P. Elverum and Sarah Elverum were married in 1909. They lived together until the death of Sarah. They had no children. At the time of their marriage, Ludwig owned a 200-acre farm in Christiana Township, Jackson County, which has been referred to throughout the record, and will be referred to herein, as the Chris-tiana farm. In 1927 they acquired another farm of 160 acres in Delafield Township in the same county, similarly referred to as the Delafield farm. This farm was purchased from one Stoesz.
