Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Rensselaer County, rendered April 8, 1976, convicting defendant, upon his plea of guilty, of the crime of robbery in the first degree. Defendant was charged in a six-count indictment with commission of the crimes of robbery in the first degree; rape, first degree; sodomy, first degree; two counts of burglary in the first degree and attempted murder in the second degree. He was allowed to plead guilty to the first count of the indictment, a class B felony, in satisfaction of the entire indictment. Defendant was sentenced to a term of imprisonment…
