The record in this case contains a transcript from a justice court in Eastland county showing that the appellant bank instituted suit in that court upon a note for $158.95, alleging that "the note was secured by a chattel mortgage on first three bales of cotton on entire crop for 1913 on O. P. Watson's farm 16 miles east of Eastland; also rent cotton and one bay horse 11 years old, and about 16 hands high."
