POPOVICH, Judge:

This is an appeal from an order entered in the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County granting the appellees’ (Lillian and Clifford Brearman) motion for summary judgment.

On April 19, 1986, the appellees (hereinafter “the Brearmans”) were involved in an automobile accident with the appellant (hereinafter “Hunsicker”). As a result, an action in negligence was instituted by the Brearmans against Hunsicker. Hunsicker answered the Brearmans’ complaint and included a counterclaim for property damage to his vehicle.
