The People’s motion to reargue defendant’s motion to dismiss this action pursuant to CPL 30.30 (1) (b) and 170.30 (1) (e) is *210granted. On reargument, I adhere to the original determination. The dismissal stands.

By District Court information, albeit a jurisdictionally defective one, defendant stood accused, as of September 2001, of the class A misdemeanor of failing to “register” as a sex offender (see Correction Law art 6-C).
